Okay, so I have to write why I think I'm a dork huh? Let's see. When I was a kid I used to have a purple cloak and a gold pendant and walked around wishing I were a hobbit -- in 1972. I used to play Avalon Hill war games and paint miniatures. I have an MFA in painting but I taught myself how to program in C, C++, Perl, Java, ......... I had a computer with 3 bootable OSs ( I killed it ). I've since channeled my dorkiness into photography and I have over ten 50mm lenses, and can tell you the optical qualities of each - and I _will_ too, and at the slightest provocation. I learned the correct usage of the word "whom", from watching Star Trek, and I enjoy staying up late with attractive women discussing data modeling, process flow and pipeline architecture. There are many who are much dorkier than I am, but few, I think, who also nearly failed high school algebra :) Do I pass? Oh yeah, and my sister used to beat the crap out of me when I was growing up.
