I was Zoe from Firefly for Halloween. I mentioned this to my older brother, who lives in another city but turns out also to be a huge fan. Neither of us knew that the other was, too. Anyhoo, he plans to be Shepherd Book one year, but in the mean time chose The Green Lantern for this year's festivities. He's actually got the physique to pull off something like this.
Just sharing to say as he did that, clearly, some things are just genetic. Thanks ma! (I think)
Anyone else have Sexy Dork genetics stories to share?

Re: Runs in the family
Thu, November 30, 2006 - 11:41 PMOK, I have another one. I was in a computer store with my mom. The guy was telling us the difference between two models and my mom's phone rings. With the Star Wars theme. She goes to take the call, and I say to the guy, before he can ask, "Yes, that was the Star Wars theme song." He says, "You know, I'm not used to people who wear their geekiness on their sleeve." Then, of course, while my mom chatted away nearby, I and the computer guy launched into a conversation about Star Wars, and he told me where I could get the newly re-released original versions on sale. It was a beautiful moment. -
