Do I belong here?

I've been known to snort when I laugh.
I watch the Lotr, Serenity, Labyrinth and the Fifth Element on a regular basis, and say the lines out loud, to all of them, every time.
I alphebetize my books by authors last name, seperated by genre.
Talking about server configurations with my co-workers has been known to make me drool. Visibily.
I have to seriously decide between paying rent and buying new lego sets/and or comic books on a regular basis.
I don't understand why its inappropriate to wear ballgowns while bowling. ( they keep telling me so, but I'm not buying it)
I name my cats after comic book/SciFi movie characters.
I think I'm absolutely hysterical on a regular basis, even when no-one else is laughing.
I know that's more, but its all I got for now.
So what do you think?

I think I love you. Especially in a ball gown while bowling.

Also, is your name from the Lloyd Alexander books?

Yup. My mom spelt it a little differently, but that's where she got it. It gets better, my middle name is Elvenstar. :P

Wow. It seems your mother destined you either for a lifetime of either Sexy Dorkhood or misery. Glad you chose to be on our side.

And hey - it's better than "Apple."

          Welcome to the tribe :)

When I was a teenager, I hated my name, and shortened the whole thing to "Star". Yeah, its a Lost Boys reference, but it's still part of my middle name, so I felt vaguely justified. Once I got over the special horror that was being a teenager, I found that I was really proud of my name, however weird or unpronouncable. I embraced the dorkiness that is me, and now I love my name. My kids are going to have really wierd Gaelic names, preferably with a Scifi/Fantasy connection. Poor things. Hopefully one day they'll love me for it.

            Thank you:)

Oh and people that can pronounce my name at one go when only seeing it in writing get serious points in my book.

Yeah, I'm really proud of the Kaylee outfit. You can't tell from the pic, but I made the patches by hand, and rubbed in some grease stains. I'll be wearing that at the browncoat ball in 21 days. I guess the fact that the Browncoat Ball in SF is the highlight of my Sept helps me qualify too. :)
